made with 360° sandwich veldtschoen construction where the welt goes on top, underneath is upper leather that is turned outside instead of underneath (this way upper leather doesn't have to be sanded down so stays 1.6-1.8mm thick in Cordovan making it strong as well as waterproof) then the first sole goes underneath and everything is stitched through
